I think add Liljegren, take out the 3rd from Arizona and Arizona jumps all over it considering they don’t have their 1st round pick anymore

1st, Kerfoot, Liljegren and Engvall for Dvorak and Brassard would be more than fair.

Brassard is a UFA after this season, so don't you think that's a lot to give up for just Dvorak in the big picture?
In your proposal you added a top Prospect from The Leafs and took away the 3rd Round Pick from what I posted, sorry but that's way to much to trade away from The Leafs side imo. It almost seems on here if it's a Leaf Trade Toronto has to way overpay to improve in a Trade, where as any other Team doesn't.

I agree with NotaCasual, I think Dvorak is the best player for Toronto to pursue: he’s not too expensive, young, friends with Marner, etc etc. They’d likely pay a little more to get the ideal player.
I didn't check the money but I’m guessing the added prospect could also cover some retention on both players.

No retention is needed with a 20 man roster and that's why adding more to my proposal is to much, Dvorak makes 4.45m and Brassard 1m and a UFA after this season.

are you guys crazy? Dvorak isn’t worth a 1st. He’s never cracked 40’points in a season and he’s far from a defensive PKer. The leafs moved Andreas Johnson who is a better player for a 5th. Take that into consideration. NotACasual it hurts my head how you think that could be possibly fair.

Ohh and Brassard he sucks. I’m not just saying that Alex Galchenyuk>Brassard he is the most 1 dimensional offensive player in the game if you think Nylander is lazy watch brassard.

1st, Peltier, Bennet and Ryan 50% retained for Dvorak and Brassard? Ohh wow @notACasual I bet now the trade doesn’t look to good.

@Nylander Dvorak is 6 points off of Nylander and doesn’t play with Matthews and Marner. So if Dvorak is worth a 5th then Nylander is worth about a 3rd except his contract is much worse- he should be on a 4-5M AAV.

Upgrading from Kerf to Dvorak shouldn't be more than a 1st, imo. Dvorak has 33/ 37/ 38/ 20, Kerfoot has 42/ 42/ 28/ 15. Kerfoot's older by one year only, and yes, he is the worse player, but he isn't a cap dump by any means. Dvorak's good and is better than Kerfoot, but for any more than a 1st and I'd look elsewhere.

Ohh Topshelfslappers with your logic Carter Verainault or whatever his name is on Florida is worth a struggling star because he’s having a outlier year. Listen one good start to a season doesn’t make a mediocre sub 40 point player worth more then a 60+ point 30+ goal scorer.

@TSS yeah I agree with you, the problem is that many teams aren’t interested in Kerfoot and the Leafs really can’t keep him since they are hard capped, thus he becomes a cap dump to any rebuilding team.

@Nylander yeah I mean it’s called investing in potential. If a team believes a player will only get better then it’s a good investment. I believe Dvorak will only improve, but you may think this year is a one off.
Whichever the case, you’re the most delusional fan if you think he gets dealt for a 5th round pick.
