I don’t think Drais is better then Eichel. Drais’s stats are heavily inflated by McDavid and if Eichel was on the same PP as McDavid that’d be scary.

Drai is better than Eichel in pretty much every way. He can play both positions and has the second best shot in the league behind OV without the laziness. He’s exactly the guy to play with McDavid.

Well considering Mathews out scored both Ovie and Drais I’d disagree. Also Drais is not a good defensive player just because he’s big doesn’t mean he’s great at defence. He’s a all out offensive player. I’d put Drais below Mathews and Eichel. I bed a lot of people would pick Drais over Eichel atleast but me personally I would like to see what Eichel could do behind a competent coach on a well structured roster. He’s absorbing hate on how much of a joke the Buffalo Sabres are. See the Ryan O’Rielly effect.

More like Buffalo *with Eichel is terrible. If he's such a great player then why is it Taylor Hall like so many before him had a terrible year with Eichel then goes to Boston playing on the 2nd line with Krejki at center and immediately starts scoring again?

No matter how you look at it there's something wrong with Eichel when players who have been scorers their whole career have trouble scoring when playing with Eichel but are fine again as soon as they start playing with another supposedly lesser center.

Taylor Hall is a "SLUG" He took $8 M and hid in the corner all year. He played well in the regular season with Krejki. Where was he in the playoffs? He will be lucky to sign for $4 M a year.
