Have you watched Quinn Hughes play?
As a Canucks fan, I watch him regularly, he is a very good offensive defensive man, but, also a very poor defenseman without the puck, brutal actually.

@Renidrag yeah he’s kinda like Morgan Reilly. But he’s young and can develop defensively. I think the proposed trade is pretty good value wise.

Quinn Hughes. Lots of points sure and -24 by far the worst +/ - on the canucks.

Still the canucks greatly overvalue him and won't trade him.

I think Quinn Hughes is the worst Defenseman in the league. great PP quarterback. but as an actual Defenseman. he isn't one. he doesn't know the meaning of the word.
As a points dman, he's near the top of the league. but in all my years watching the game, I don't know if I've seen a weaker from a physical standpoint, guy in that position.

@sosa and everyone else; he struggles defensively but he is only 21. It’s impossible to give a fundamentally strong dman talent, but possible to teach a gifted one fundamentals.
If he works out, gets stronger and learns proper positioning, he could be a top 10 dman in no time.

No Hughes will never be a good defensive player he may get as good as Barrie of even Rielly but as of now that looks unlikely. Vancouver declines tho make Zacha to Holtz and then they take it tho IMO also Myers has negative value.
