Mtl should not sign Hall at all imo. Unless it’s for less then 5 million a year. Boston can keep him.

Hall has not impressed. He looks like gadreau, can score points in season, isn't the driving force needed in playoffs. If he's 2nd line with a 1b centre he'd be great, but idk about carrying a line in playoff hockey. I like hall with habs idea, but 6.5 over 6? Better 7 or 8 over 2 years.

Take the 1st and struble out of the trade and it’s a deal if drouin doesn’t ever want to play for the habs again.

Hall would be a good fit in Montreal but he'll get lots of offers for more than 5.5 per year. At the very least Montreal will have to step up and offer more than Boston does.

The Habs are strong at RW. Caufield looks like he's going to be a top 6 LW, Hall would give them another. Caufield with Suzuki and Toffoli, Hall with Kotkaniemi and Anderson or Gallagher sounds pretty good.

Calgary needs a RW not another LW. They have too many LW already.
