Why package Skinner with Eichel? It just lowers his value a ton.

Agree with no NottACasual this is a very weak draft. Definitely shouldn’t trade Eichel for a pick in this draft.

Draft isn’t actually that bad, especially not very weak. Average is more like it. This draft has tons of depth tho, lots of late round steals. Possibly a lot of players that could take longer to develop and Kaprizov style.

I can't see Seattle having anything to do with Jeff Skinner and his albatross of a contract. $9 mil per year running into 2027.

Jack Eichel is not getting traded for a draft pick. Eichel and skinner to Seattle is actually not a bad idea. 1) Skinner played with Eichel 2 years ago and had 40 goals. Ralph Krueger played him on the third line and killing penalties.
1.) The Sabres get the second pick and draft a center.
2.) The Sabres get 3-4 picks from Kraken expansion list.
3.) The Kraken get 2 players players with name recognition that make them competitive. It also helps them reach salary cap floor.
4.) Jack Eichel is not in the East. Plays 4 times a year against McDavid.
