I don’t think Taresanko could fetch that without a cap dump because realistically what contender could add 7.8 million in space. I break it down 1st to dump neal and Broberg straight up for Taresanko.

There’s almost zero chance the Oil trade there first to dump Neal. I have a feeling they just keep him for another season then either buy him out or trade a pick to dump him.

Take out the first and it's probably about right. Taresenko is a bit of a cap dump too.

Neal and he both become UFA in 2023. Taresenko makes 1.75 mil per year more but he's still the better player though his numbers the last couple years haven't been very good (points almost as bad as Neal but significantly better plus minus) .
