Coleman is a UFA and he's not a top 6 forward.

Sounds like Reinhart is going to Florida. As always Treliving misses on the one player that best fits team needs.

Coleman is a nice piece. for a contending team. Calgary needs to tear it down and build it up properly. They're neither good nor bad right now, and that's a dangerous place to be.

@Chickenfoot Calgary doesn't need to tear it down though you are right they need to build it up properly. The problem in Calgary is the GM. Trelivng is incompetent and completely clueless about how to build a good team.

Calgary has good players but Treliving keeps fixing things that aren't broken. He's utterly failed to address the real problems.

He hangs onto players he should trade until he can't get much for them and trades players he should have kept for less than they're worth. He's repeatedly proven too cheap to bring in players that fit the team's needs perfectly while significantly overpaying for marginal far lesser depth options.

Treliving has failed to acquire a Top 6 RW for years now. That’s all I ask of him, Reinhart would’ve been the perfect opportunity but he failed to make an offer. Wolf and 2022 first round pick would be such a steal.

Exactly, I've been saying all year Reinhart will be traded before Eichel and as a right shooting top 6 forward who can play Center or RW he'd be ideal for Calgary's needs.

So Tre does nothing but blow a lot of hot air about Eichel and winds up trading for Pitlick. Pitlick! A 4th line RW isn't what the Flames need, what they need is a top 6 RW or better yet two of them!
