MTL declines Monahan, a career -31.

CGY declines picks, they're still trying to go for it.

Everyone declines Kerfoot and Dermott who are in EVERY leaf proposal. (Seattle could have taken Kerfoot for nothing, and declined. )

KK can't be traded this year by anyone.

Engvall just doesn't move the needle for me. I think we've discussed this before.

You once called him a project. Call him what you want but he is not a full-time NHL player, and holds no value except with leaf fans who include him, Kerfoot, Dermott, Holl, etc. in every trade proposal every day.

I don't disagree. I don't like Engvall either but I do think some GM (s) would look at his size and take chance on him. He's an RFA in a year anyhow so if it doesn't work out they'd just not qualify him and let him become a UFA.

Umm I wouldn’t call selecting McCann ( a solid player ) over Kerfoot also a solid vanilla player “declining him for free” they chose the younger cheaper player. Personally I’d take Kerfoot over McCann he’s a better defensive player and played phenomenal in the playoffs.
