Zacha is bigger, younger, gets paid less (for this year anyhow) and scored more points than Kerfoot did in each of the last 2 years.

MoxNix must be back in 1943 welcome to the new world where players like Yamamoto, Caufield, Diebrencat etc are key players. Size means nothing. Sure bigger players have the potential to hit more but Zacha isn’t necessarily a physical player. I’ve played hockey all my life which clearly you haven’t. I’ll tell you 1st hand small players can knock a bigger player down easy. In bantam I remember when Jaxon Bellamy ( QMJHL ) being like 6.4 went in on a rush on dumped the puck in the corner and Lucas Cormier absolutely lit him up while he had posetion of the puck. This kid was maybe 5.9 at the time if that. That kid was solid. No one could knock him off of his feet.

NHL and minor hockey are obviously not the same. While it’s definitely not the first thing to look at, size is still something teams want.

Size still matters and it isn't just about how much or how hard they hit. IN GENERAL bigger players are harder to push around and can take more punishment than smaller players.
