Canucks trade JT Miller to Colorado for Newhook and Barron.

Colorado gets a strong 2 way point producing top 6 player, for their cup run, and the Canucks get 2 young promising players that fill an organizational need.

Newhook will not be traded and he will become better than Miller in a year or two.

Eventually Colorado needs to make a bigger push in order to get to the Cup.
Usually that means sacrificing some young talent.
Colorado is an excellent team, but are missing some of what Miller brings.

Good trade! Be even better if somehow they could also add a sweetner to aquire Halak and get him to remove his NTC.
