Toronto Trades
WNylander
Kerfoot
Niemela (SML)
1st Round Pick 2022

Vancouver Trades
JTMiller
Garland
5th Round Pick 2022

This would obviously be a Draft Day Trade, and where both Teams are this is the type of trade proposal both Teams would look at.

Toronto throws in Mathews and Van throws in Boeser and you have a deal!

Lol

Pinball... no one wants kerfoot... van can sign someone cheaper in the off season who does the same thing. Let's move to Nylander... I would NEVER want him on my team.... during his contract negotiation, he held out until Dec. Which means he's all about himself and not winning as a team. The rest of this deal is low brow... a 1st sounds good but it's going to be a LOW first rounder.

Pinball are you trolling???

There is nothing more important in life then money. Money makes the world go around and clearly the contract he signed was a bargain since Skinner and Hayes were signed to their horrid contracts that same year. You can’t blame someone for holding out for more money that’s basic human rights. If everyone accepts their 1st contract offer we’d be in a similar situation to Pre French Revolution if you disregard the technology.

@vbbbvvbb

You are right. 100%. Nylander though didn't accept his first contract offer... there were MANY. He held out until Dec. How many offers were there in between Oct and Dec. Only reason he signed in Dec. Was because if he didn't... he wouldn't play at all that year.

Like I said your right he has the right to do that... but that is not how you build a championship team...

If he took slightly less money there would have been more $$ to sign a quality player to play with him... or become a deeper team.

Taking less money hurts everyone else.

I’m a union man I believe in fair wages for all someone who takes less money to displace a union worker is considered a scab a company man who only looks out for themselves

Now the NHLPA is very similar to a union and a player taking less money on a contract hurts the nhlpa ( his peers ) . So him taking less money actually makes the less of a team player as it show management that they can walk over and underpay their workers.

@vbbbvvbbbb

I am also a union man and have been involved in several negotiations. A real union works on getting fair wages for all, not just the ones who get the glamor positions (top 6 minutes) .
There are several players around the league that are grossly underpaid for what they provide to their team, whether it be a player on an ELC, or a veteran that provides very valuable 3rd line minutes and leadership.
The union (nhlpa) negotiated that crap that allows for the disparity between these workers, shame on them.
Also, a scab is considered a worker who crosses a picket line, usually to take on the job of a striking worker.

@vbbbvvbbbb

I get your point to some degree... just wondering what your thoughts would be on a Loui Eriksson contract? What about guys like jumbo Joe playing for a league minimum to win...? I think winning the cup should earn you a winners contract.

Absolute no from Van. Is it just me or should they block all of Toronto from having internet access.
