Everything but Drake I’d be fine with. If it costs a 1st line winger on a very good contract for a 1st line winger that we’d have to overpay, then no thank you.

The Karlsson pick was expected to be low and ended up being high.

@NotACasual-13 actually! Both the Erik Karlsson and Eric Lindros Trades had 10 pieces in the swap + I've added Valimaki & Vladar who both have good value.

I’m saying it makes no sense for Ottawa. I don’t see how exchanging a player who’s on the same timeline and affordable for someone who’s older and more expensive helps them.
Matthew fits Calgarys timeline of competing now and is set to become captain so I can’t see them doing it either.

Batherson + a 1st + Brown + a 2nd + Prospects Kostelic & Sokolov for Tkachuk + Beck seems fair to me. Could swap Kerins for Beck OR have CGY add another Mid-Pick/ Prospect OR remove Beck and Sokolov all together. OR how about taking Monahan 25-50% retained instead. Move Stutzle to LW and White or Boucher to RW.

UFA’s Holden + Watson for RFA Valimaki seems pretty good for OTT. Vladar for Gustavsson is completely optional.

Don’t want to give up Bath or Norris? How about Jake Sanderson or Tim Stutzle then. We definitely need a Top Player or Prospect in exchange for our Top-10 Scoring SuperStar. Unfortunately Boucher and Bernard-Docker don’t really excite me.

Is there no value or interest in OTT uniting the Tkachuk Brothers and making their Top Players and Fans Happy!?

All the more reason to Trade him before the offer sheet opportunity arises, but it will likely cost FOUR 1st Round Picks, which give or take, is equivalent to my proposal.

Why would Brady’s contract matter or have anything to do with them playing together!?

Because Matthew and Brady likely won’t be traded. Hence they won’t play together till their contracts are up (likely in St Louis) .

Interesting prediction, but I see absolutely no Terms or Restrictions attached to either Brady or Matthew's current contracts that would prevent them from being Traded, so it's not really up to them unfortunately. Tkachuk >>>> than Batherson right now, but you're right, CGY likes him and definitely his contract/ cap hit.

Moxnix- Batherson is just starting to play like an all-star and has 5 years left at 5M AAV.
Tkachuk will command 9-10M AAV and has no chemistry with the rest of the team.
Id love to have him but I doubt we could get 1 for 1 and it would cause cap problems down the road as we try to sign Norris and Stu.

No Chemistry with his Brother!? 1 for 1!? Tkachuk is a SuperStar whereas Batherson hasn’t played an entire 82 game season yet. Bath’s been impressive and has great potential, but Tkachuk is a sure thing.
