Maybe that's why you keep proposing trading so much less than they're worth for them.

Adding to that
- Nylander is soft and lazy, he doesn't like to work hard and rarely does. He's probably worth his contract but he's certainly no bargain. Not the type of player teams another team is going to get excited about trading for. Miller > Boeser.
- Muzzin was pretty good a few years ago, now he's just very highly paid old broken down has-been.
- Kerfoot is a small soft non physical bottom 6 forward who is overpaid and extremely overrated by the Toronto centric hockey media.
- Liljegren is decent and does have the potential to be a top 4 eventually but he's not there yet and may never be.
Liljegren and a first for Schenn wouldn't be at all good for the Leafs but your proposal would be even worse for Vancouver.

Myers is a cap dump and Schenn is worth a 3rd or maybe a 2nd at most. Mox you need to stop undervaluing every leafs trade. I could post Matthews for a bag of pucks and you would still say the Leafs add. Seriously man.
Nylander is an elite scoring winger. Key word scoring. He’s not paid to be physical. If he was then he would be making around 9 million instead of 7. It has be routinely stated my sports analysts that he has the best value contract on the Leafs right now.
Muzzin is still a solid top 4 guy who can hit, score, and play a stellar defensive game. Yes maybe his cap hit is a little high but if I’m a team like LA who has basically no left defence and a bunch of young guys coming up, I would want his grit and leadership on the back end. Yes maybe he’s not a fit in Vancouver, doesn’t mean he couldn’t prosper elsewhere. Even if he isn’t moved this off-season I’m totally fine with it because he would be an awesome partner for either Sandin or Liljgren.
Kerfoot has the same sort of style of play as Garland and can play up and down the lineup, play any position, can play on both special teams, and has a bit of tenacity that a lot of people who don’t watch the leafs miss. Maybe his cap hit is a little high but in a world where Nick Paul got 3 million I’m totally fine with it.
Liljgren is going to be a top purging defenceman. Maybe not this season, but he took enormous strides last year and I’m still mad at Keefe for playing Holl over him in the last 5 games of the playoffs. Just look at what Holl’s dumbass did in game 7. Basically costed them the series.

I guess you didn't read the other post where I said the only way the Leafs would even consider trading Matthews is if it was a 1 for 1 trade for McDavid.
Elite players are elite because they work hard and give 100% all the time. Nylander is lazy. The best value contract on the Leafs is probably Campbell, maybe Bunting or someone. Nylander's contract isn't bad and it's certainly better value than Marner's and Tavares' contracts but it's no bargain either.
Muzzin is just about done and with 2 years left at $5.625 mil per you'd have to retain salary or pay through the nose to get anyone to take him now.
Kerfoot, give it up already. If he was half the player Leafs fans keep telling themselves they wouldn't constantly be trying to get rid of him, other teams would be interested in acquiring him and he'd be long gone already.

Clearly the leafs do. Name 5 forwards in the 3.5 million dollar range that signed their contract as a UFA better then Kerfoot I’ll wait.

Duclair & Jenner, then the rest are debatable: C. Brown, M. Foligno, J. Carter, Andreas Johnsson, Craig Smith, JT Compher, T. Pearson and B. Tanev
I agree, Kerfoot is decent and paid fair for what he brings to the table. I'd consider him for the Flames at 2LW (or if he were better at Faceoffs 2C) to setup either Mangiapane or Toffoli at 2RW, but not sure how to make it work. Would probably need a 3 Team Trade as there's not much I can see Flames & Toronto wanting to swap for or that either would want to give up in a deal for Kerfoot, especially when we have Pelletier & Ruzicka already.
Liljegren is a pretty good RD already as well. I'd take him too.
I agree Nylander might not be a Sutter style player, but he'd probably do well with Lindholm & Tkachuk on the 1st line & PP. He'd likely be a difficult & expensive negotiation though, so better to just stick with Mangiapane & Toffoli.

Jenner is a great player and better then Kerfoot. Duclair is not. Carter makes 5 mil + if I’m not mistaken. None of those players are even equal to Kerfoot besides maybe Foligno is abit more valuable.
