TOR shouldn't get rid of their Size on the Back End by moving Muzzin & Holl IMO, especially since they're TOR's Top-2 PK D-Men.

I'd swap Brodie for Dumba, might need a Sweetener on top though

Dube will start producing the same numbers as Bunting here pretty soon, especially with Better Line Mates and more PP time, like Bunting gets

CGY is more interested in Players who can help them now as opposed to Picks. Kerfoot @50% retained + Holl? Problem is they will both want more money to re-sign (Kerfoot/ $4-5mil + Holl/ $3-4mil), so CGY wouldn't be interested. Dube for Timothy Liljegren is far more realistic IMO.

I think the middle proposal is the best. can't see Minny giving up 2 players for Nylander. if you value him that high, why not keep him?

Holl isn't bad but Calgary already has at least 7 better defensemen.

@TrevorA I'm not a big fan of either Muzzin or Holl simply because IMO they don't use their size nearly as much as they could. Dumba plays more physical and I feel given the right chance could produce more. With Kaprizov's status up in the air with his potential legal issues back in Russia I feel like Minnesota may overpay for a player like Nylander to fill that potential void. Bailey and Taveras have had success together in the pas, maybe they could again.

Me personally, I would be fine retaining on Kerfoot in a trade to get Dube and maybe a draft pick as well.

I'm comfortable running d-pairings of:

Rielly-Dumba
Gio-Brodie
Sandin-Lindy
With Benn as our 7th dman.

Muzzin is decent, getting older and having injury/ concussion issues; but is still throwing 2+ Hits Per Game

Holl threw almost 2 HPG this season & isn't afraid to Block Shots, but now that I've analyzed it further @MoxNix is right, Holl would be a Downgrade for us, especially on the PK

Dumba is More Physical + will Score More Goals than Brodie, but he's not Very Good on the PK. Brodie is actually Very Good on PK + isn't afraid to Block Shots either. I'd stick with Brodie & Holl over Dumba, it's not worth shaking up the Team Chemistry or the additional cost IMO.

I also don't believe Kaprizov will have an issue getting back to MIN. I'd Trade Holl for a 3rd or Bottom-6 Depth Guy & Sign Toronto Born PK Subban for.

You won't be getting Dube and draft pick for Kerfoot. If anything it'll cost a pick to get someone to take Kerfoot.

Yeah no chance at all do I swap Muzzin for Bailey. I want nothing to do with him or that contract and I’m sure no team does.

BTW Kaprisov was back in North America yesterday. You can bet on it he won't be returning to Russian anytime soon.
