OMG the Habs and Stars hang up the phone laughing at these desperate asks. (I can’t call them offers. )

The Habs are counting on Edmundson to lead a very young D corps through what is sure to be another lottery finish. They’re getting lots of calls for the big guy on the fantastic contract, and Holl gets your number blocked. If he moves it will be for a generous offer, and this ain’t it.

Hintz really proved himself in the playoffs for Dallas, so to throw undersized “prospect” Robertson and Lilly at the Stars is ridiculous to hockey fans with even a passing interest in actual player values.

I didn’t read beyond the Dallas offer. There just wasn’t any point. Leaf fans rarely pitch credible offers, and usually see the rest of the league as a dumping ground for their bad contracts and never-will-be’s. You don’t get respect with posts like this.

I think the habs consider moving Edmonston for a 2nd Holl is just in there because the leafs would need to clear space.

VB - Holl is nothing, and the Habs would do better than a 2nd and Holl if they wanted to trade him, absolutely no question.

VBBBBB…. Edmundson isn’t on the market, but is getting a lot of calls. That will increase by the deadline, especially at 3.5M/ year for this year and next. IF he were to move he won’t move for less than a 1st plus…just like Chiarot.

The Habs would be foolish to trade him, so if they do, it will be for a heck of a lot more than a 2nd?.
