Canucks send Bo Horvat to Sabres, for Flyers 2nd(23) and Sabres 1st (24)

Canucks need to seriously rebuild from scratch, Sabres get a solid 2nd line centre, that is good on draws.

This will be one of many trades the Canucks make over the next 6 months.

If Horvat wasn't a rental, he might get that return, but since he is a rental, he's not getting a high 1st and 2nd in return.

I dont think the Canucks need a complete rebuild. They have lots of good peices, even foundation pieces.
The Defense is brutal, if im the Canucks management, I look to move Hughes. His value is high, however, he's maybe the worst Defensman I've ever seen, but he can move a puck.
Get back a good solid 2 Way Dman, make some smaller moves. Some tweaks here and there.
But no need to blow up the team.

LOL Sabres will not be trading for a rental. They are one of the worst teams in the east. If they don’t land a top C in the draft he may make sense as a a UFA but i see Cozens and him as to similar of players.

VBBBB - I agree with much of what you say, but BUF is no longer one of the worst teams in the East. They are currently 7th out of 16.
