I can’t imagine why VCR would trade a 1st in a season that they’ll be in the running for a great pick, if not a lottery pick.

The other proposals don’t seem realistic either.

For trying to upgrade the Canucks D, I wonder if there is some sort of way the Canucks and Hawks could come up with something, a Hughes for Seth Jones deal, not sure how it would all look . But something based around that.

SOSA: agreed. If CHI retains half they can find teams to take on Jones’ deal. They just need someone that Jones will agree to go to. I agree with you that a deal like that is possible.

Jones is not better then Hughes.

Jones isn't as good ad Hughes on the PP, but he's not to bad offensively, however, he is way above Hughes when it comes to the Defensive aspect of the game. Hughes isn't physically strong enough to be a good 2 way Damn in the league.
