Montreal: Joshua Roy, 2nd 2023 and 3rd 2024

Columbus: Adam Boqvist

Montreal- Adam Boqvist is a perfect fit on the Canadian weak right side. He is a young PP specialtist who'd instantly step into the 1st PP and has the potential to mold into a Tyson Barrie like player ( in prime ). Boqvist is struggling in torts system but in a creative system like Martin St Louis has has to offer I could see him produce at a 50 Pt pace.

Columbus- Boqvist just isn't a fit in Torts system and is blocked by Werenski and Jiricek. They get back a few decent pieces while giving a redundant player a chance else where.

MTL passes and will continue to stockpile ‘23 picks and develop promising talents like Roy.

Also, Columbus is coached by Brad Larsen. John Tortorella coaches Philly. Larsen had a full training camp and preseason with his team and they’re certainly not playing the old Torts system that got him fired.

Cue the meltdown….

I dobt think Habs should trade Roy away.
