This could be a good trade for habs, I feel like Zegras would thrive in Montreal playing with his buddy Caufield ! It would give habs plenty of offensive options…

I would think it takes a first and a prospect or a similarly skilled, struggling roster player. They'd at least want to have a chance to break even on the deal.

Anaheim will want more than that. I personally wouldn't trade that for Zegras.

I must confess that I don’t like the player either. As much as I would not trade a big package for him, I feel like it will take a big offer to get him. Maybe VCR is a better fit?

Verbreek is going to eventually have to settle for a deal or let Zegras hit the market when his contract is over. The skill to be a consistent 70-80pt guy is there, but Zegras doesn't seem to have that dog in him to push the pace of play and be a game changer.

I wouldn't give up a tonne for him either tbh. Maybe a prospect in the 5-10 range on a team's depth chart and a draft pick at most and even that I think could be an overpay.
