Other than Gautier, it looks okay. If Toronto asks for 21 year old top prospect that is a key piece for Anaheim's future for 29 year old, overpaid complimentary winger that isn't going to make much difference for Anaheim next season and will be declining when the Ducks get near the playoffs. Anaheim says no easily.

Nylander is only worth a great return like this in the eyes of Leaf fans. No teams would want a playoff floater like subway boy.

lol Nylander is the leafs best player, not Mathews, Not Marner. He won’t be moved only player that plays with hart in the playoffs.

Lol he's the best player when he decides to be. His work ethic is still lack luster when the bounces aren't going his way and that shined through in the Florida series. At least Matthews picked up his play defensively when the bounces weren't there for him.

If Anaheim is getting WNylander do you really think a player like CGauthier plus a 1st Rounder wouldn't be the asking price?
I am also adding McMann in my proposal as well.
Again WNylander is an elite player and had 15 points in 13 games in this years playoffs.

Pinball, I agree that Toronto might ask Anaheim for Gauthier, I'm just saying there is just no chance that Anaheim considers paying it.

Nylander isn't a play driver and isn't the piece that puts Anaheim over the top and makes them a Stanley Cup contender. He doesn't even make them a playoff team.

Lol. Sure vbb. Both Connor and Scheifele outscored Nylander, one is a far more valuable point a game center and both cost 3 to 4 mil less per season, but somehow Nylander is a tier above.

That might be your most outrageous post ever! ?

- Connor has more career goals and points despite having played almost a full season less.

- Connor makes 4M less than Nylander, and that stuff matters a lot to most hockey fans.

Nope Rielly is not close to Morrisey nor is Woll close to Helly. Mathews (a player that’s a tier below Nylander) is on most pro analysits (TSN, Sportsnet, etc) a top 5 player I think I seen him at 7th which was the lowest.

Nylanders 98 point season is higher then Kyle Connors career high. Not to mention Kyle Connor has averaged almost 3 minutes more of ice time throughout his career which is about 12 extra GP per year. When you take a look pts per 60min Nylander is closer to Connor McDavid then Kyle Connor.

Not that I’d expect primitive nomads to understand statistics.

Nylander is no where’s near McDavid or MacKinnon or Crosby but he’s closer to them then he is to Kyle Connor. My apologies I overestimated your reading comprehension.

Hey everyone I just put out a proposal, didn't think it would go this far into a war of words.
I still believe it's a good trade for both teams but that's strictly my opinion.
