- ANA deal is close to fair, but ANA gets another prospect to make it happen. However, I’d be reluctant to trade a ‘26 1st…it is going to be a deep draft.

- the second deal is lopsided for the Rangers. I’d rather have the younger Laine than the bread man any day of the week. Matheson, if traded, will bring in more on a separate deal.
