I guess I am back on my Vermette rant:
Habs send: Desharnais, Eller, Tinordi, Andrighetto, De La Rose plus 2nd rounder to Coyotes for Vermette (UFA) and Hanzal by Boris Bagel who I believe is a MTL fan.
Would MTL even consider that package for Stafford .574pts/gm & Ennis .616pts/gm who each have better lifetime stats than Vermette .533pts/gm or Hanzal .499pts/gm.
Murray would kill to get that kind of return for two players.

I would say that Arizona would say no, even though MTL is overpaying a bit. Arizona would be losing their top 2 centers and they want a 1st + roster player for Vermette alone.

I would say Eller and either a 1st or Tinordi/De La Rose + 2nd for Vermette.

I think Hanzal is worth more than Desharnais, Andrighetto, and one of Tinordi/De La Rose, but this is all my opinion.

So what is unbelievable, that Boris posted that trade, that Murray would kill to get that return, that Montreal would not even consider trading all of those assets for the two Sabres or that the lifetime stats are inaccurate?
