Buffalo needs a great prospect (McDavid, Eichel) and if they keep playing like they are, they will. They are making it so they're going to be a great team in a few years so why not add a ton of prospects.

Buffalo gets
Sam Morin
Travis Sanheim

Philadelphia gets
Matt Moulson

@TD1919TD I am quite certain that Moulson signed with Buffalo to be close to North York. That actually looks like too much for Moulson.

Why would Philly trade it's two best defensive prospects for Moulson. Defense has been their biggest issue, makes no sense for them to try this trade.
