Toronto: Mike Richards, Tyler Toffoli, Trevor Lewis, Martin Jones and the 13th overall pick

Kings: Phil Kessel, James Reimer, Pittsburgh 2nd 2016

LA gets a top 10 sniper in the league to help with their lack of goal scoring and sheds Richards cap at the expense of some young pieces and a good pick

Toronto gets a future top 6 winger to replace Kessel, a young promising goalie and a solid 3rd liner. They take on Richards but receive a very good draft pick for doing so.


Toronto: Stephen Weiss, Brendan Smith, Teemu Pulkinnen

Detroit: Dion Phaneuf

It's been reported all over the place that this was the offer by the wings at the deadline and Toronto said no. If they are smart they hope it's still on the table and take it.

Toronto: conditional 3rd

Montreal: Lupul

Montreal adds a big strong goal scoring winger that they really really need. Toronto sheds cap relief and get a mediocre pick. Pick is conditional on amount of GP Lupul has. Could turn to a 2nd if he plays more than 65 games


Toronto: Granlund

Minnesota: Bozak

Toronto gets a project player that has the possibility of becoming a good 2nd line player while Minnesota gets a good shutdown proven middle 6 player that they could use.

Why are pulkinnen and mantha always thrown into multiple player packages from det and 1st rounders and only get one player in return. These 2 players are top prospects who are projected to score 30 plus goals. Trades are way off. Holland isn't new!
