Still doesn't take away from the fact that he didn't get near enough value for Hamilton and payed way to much for Rinaldo but I'll give credit where credit is due and admit that he did very well on the Lucic/Jones trades.

What about him swapping this years 3rd to wild for their 3rd next year. that doesn't make sense. And trading for 13,14,15 picks then taking two guys who weren't even projected to go in the first round?? that's flat out terrible asset manegment.

I believe the B's are really comfortable with what they got in their three pics - not just skill, but attitude and speed + adaptation to future needs.

@Stammer 13th pick was Zboril who was projected to go 12 I believe so how's that bad? 14th was Debrusk, yes he was projected to go late first but I still think he'll be a decent player who could score lot of goals not a bad pick either if I do say. I agree 15th was weird as they coulda got him with one of the 2nds but if you really like someone I guess your grab him up. Could be a good player of the future. Boom or bust.
