Avs get a third line centre more depth, a 4th/5th defensemen who is still young and improving, a big D in Tinordi who could use a change in scenery, a prospect that Roy coached in minors and really liked

Habs get a great first line player who can play centre or on the wing

Just a thought, not sure if i'm way off!

I'm a habs fan too and I would really like Duchene but let's face it, you won't get an elite center for these pieces.

If you ever want a shot at him, the trade should look a bit like this :

Eller/Emelin (Cap dump)
Sherback/McCarron/Hudon
Beaulieu
1st round pick

And even there, I'm not sure if the Avs would want more.
