Flyers salary dump:

Mark Streit to Anaheim for Sekac or Stewart and a 2nd

Streit could help jump start the Ducks blueline and give them the boost they need to climb the pacific standings once he returns from injury.

Vinny Lecavalier to Nashville for Pontus Aberg

Revisiting the Lecavalier/Laviolette link that brought him to Philly and nearly to Nashville. Would be a good depth forward with Fisher's future status unknown.

Andy MacDonald to Arizona for Ryan MacInnis

MacDonald's cap hit doesn't allow him to fit on the current roster, and Arizona can carry all or most of it (meaning some might be retained) . I think MacDonald would be much better in the Tippett system and the Coyotes are loaded with center prospects that the Flyers lack.

no one will take vinny, eve of philly retains 50% i doubt anyone would give anything.

macdonald also isn't worth anything, nevermind a guy taken just outside the 1st round and is still a teenager.

streit does provide enough for him to have a bit o value, but not sekac or a 2nd. more like a low pick.

you need to face it, these guys are considered cap dumps for a reason.

ANA blue line is all they've got going for them at the moment, no real need for tweaks there. Getzlaf has 1 goal so far. That's where the problem is. Ducks need a top-line winger.
