NYI don't need another center. Especially a soft center. They need a dman of equal value.

At this point hamonic's value is just increasing for some unknown reason. let's not forget he has 12 points this year and requested a trade. He's not returning a recent 1st overall pick who is already putting up about 50+ points in a healthy season, while playing a two-way game, and is only 22. Again, Hamonic is a great 2nd paring shut down dman.
Oilers would be better off pursuing Shattenkirk or Buff if that's what its going to cost.

It's official Hamonic is the most overrated player in THE NHL he's is a 1 dimensional 4th defender on a good team he very rarely chips in Offensivly he is weaker then Anton Stalman IMO.
