Sj wants a better back up and could use a solid dman as well

Reimer wants to be a starter. He probably won't resign in SJ knowing that he'll be the backup to Jones. Don't want to give up Roy for a rental.

It depends how high you are on Roy I see him as a 5 or 6 dman. Sj wants to win and polak may sign there which they need a big guy like that I think I makes sj better at the end of the day and they keep there top prospects still.

I could see why people think SJ wants Polak, but we need a pick moving dman to play with Dillon. Dillon is tough in his own right, and tends to play better when with a good puck mover.

Reimer is exactly what we need to give Jones some breaks, but like I said, he won't resign.

And I personally see Roy as a solid 2nd pairing puck mover, and although he's a few years away, he's exactly what we need right now, and is our best defensive prospect. This team will be retooling for the post-Thornton/ Marleau era soon, and I believe Roy could become a key piece.
