what do you think someone's rights for just over a week are worth? persnally, i'd be disappointed if TOR gave anything for stamkos' rights because, if there is mutual interest, they can wait a week to make it official.

You never know Kaner88 rights have and will be Traded leading up to the Draft, its more a Gentlemans type of Trade and the Leafs are class, rumour is Buffalo is looking to throw 12 million Stamkos's way, but like Babcock I see them getting stiffed by Stamkos, he is from Unionville a hometown guy that is in Toronto all off season its a natural fit and at 26yrs old is still the course of a rebuild and adding Stamkos and Matthews plus Andersen now puts the rebuild at least 3yrs ahead.

Rights aren't worth to much Yandle got a sixth and he's a solid 2/ 3 dman. This is probably what a trade would look like which is why Tampa won't do it unless they absolutely have to.

Doubt very much Toronto signs Stamkos. It would have to be after a few buyouts. You know how you leaves fans thought it was genius work by gm lou to take on bad contracts well now it comes back to bite you. What does Toronto have for Capspace 5-6 million maybe? Doubt that gets you Lucic never mind Stamkos.

He took 1 year of bad contracts for the coming season but he trade 6 years of dion and his 7.5 so long run we save money so it was a good move by lou.

Mike 13 he took on over 11 million in bad contracts with Greening, Laich and Michael contracts. Not sure what rules are for buyouts but because Cowan what bought out you are at the league maximum of 3 on record (I believe) .
My point is no Stamkos for Leaves.
