Wow. that's an absolute steal for NY. Spooner is younger than Nash and is playing just as good imo. And a 1st, and a former 2nd? Good God. Imagine this getting proposed here, it would get rubbish down immediately, lol.

And. Beleskey is at 50% Retention too. he's only 1.8 million with that retention, which is feasable. If NYR retained 50% on him and got him down to 900k, then he could actually be a piece that teams might be interested in for low picks.

I agree on overpayment. Nash was better player when he didn't whine. also seems to play well in contract year.
