Ottawa needs to suck more than they need kuemper. He's a good goalie for teams to target, but he'll out-age ottawas young players by the time they're ready. Maybe try that first to nyr for georgiev?

Nyr will not trade Georgiev, Ottawa also needs to be somewhat competitive to give the young core confidence as they grow. Kuemper can provide this while giving the future goaltenders in the minors a few more years to develop. Ottawa could also take on Stepan's contract to sweeten the deal giving the coyotes more cap space and give their young core some leadership.
