Hamonic makes a lot less and has more years left on a team friendly cap hit. Defencemen are more valuable as well.

Eberle has very little value right now.
Edmonton Cherelli would have been better off trading him at the beginning of last season while he still held value. The struggled all year last season finding a place in the top 2 lines and he didn't produce.
Has crazy talent it has just been poorly managed IMO.
