Islanders need some scoring to put them at contender status. Buffalo is a dumpster fire, and needs to get assets out of their expiring contracts.
Buf: Hall
NYI: 1st 2021, M. Dal Colle
25 Dec 2018 15:27:50
Tor trades:
William nylander
Calle Rosen
2nd round 2019
Chi trades:
Duncan Keith
Nick schmaltz
I'm not sure how close value is, but keith would be a key contributor on the back end, and schmaltz can replace nylander in a lesser role.
For Chicago, they get younger and faster, while adding a draft pick. Nylander should regain his old form, and Rosen gives them a fill in for an aging Keith.
1.) 25 Dec 2018 16:02:26
Uh. Schmaltz is gone. So uh.
2.) 25 Dec 2018 16:26:35
Absolute no, 1 because Keith is well past his prime, and Schmaltz now plays for the Coyotes.
3.) 25 Dec 2018 17:25:56
Well, that was a fail. I forgot about the Arizona trade. I still think Keith would be a great addition.
4.) 25 Dec 2018 21:55:26
Keith is still an outstanding player. Obviously regressing, though exasperated by the problems of his team, he can still contribute in a meaningful way in many aspects that don’t necessarily show up on the stats sheet. A rebuilding Chicago team has got to be considering moving him at this point. Given the structure of his contract though, he will likely be traded to a team that can afford the cap hit while paying a very reasonable salary for his services. Not sure who the best trading partner is, but I’m pretty sure if Chicago started making calls about Keith, someone would still like to have him on the team.
5.) 25 Dec 2018 22:45:00
Schmaltz was Traded to Arizona so that would be a Deal impossible to make.
6.) 25 Dec 2018 22:48:39
If we are trading Nylander, they will want to get the prime years of the Dman coming back. Kieth is an option if he would wave to leave Chicago, but not at that price.
Also schmaltz is in Arizona.
7.) 25 Dec 2018 22:53:39
Nick Schmaltz plays for Arizna now.
8.) 26 Dec 2018 03:04:57
Thank you to the 5 different people that had to remind me schmaltz is in arizona. Let me re-propose? How about Keith for brown + bracco. Something along those lines.
9.) 26 Dec 2018 15:37:56
Gotta sign Mathews and Marner before adding another pricy piece.
10.) 27 Dec 2018 06:22:32
Kieth would be a great addition but not for willy. His game will come around soon and his best play will be in playoffs. ( i hope his on my fantasy team )

Colorado:
-Duchene
Carolina:
- hanifin
- 2nd round pick 2017
Car has a surplus of young defense so they should have no problem parting with hanifin. Colorado needs to retool and it's looking kuke Duchene is expendable.
1.) 02 Jan 2017 17:54:23
No way Car part with Hanifin for Dushene . They would part with any defenseman exept Hanifin.

Chi:
Ville pokka (Rd)
Tor:
Kaspari kapanen (rw/ lw)
Value wise I think its there. I see no reason why anyone needs to add. I'd like to know how other people value pokka. Go ahead and rip on it!
1.) 17 Sep 2016 20:31:10
Good trade value wise IMO.
2.) 17 Sep 2016 21:49:52
Not bad value wise but I'd think Chicago would rather keep Pokka over Kapanen. Seems like they'll need Defence over Offense, The Hawks prospects up front are actually not bad considering where they've been drafting the last 6 seasons.
3.) 17 Sep 2016 22:42:34
I agree. Good value but the Hawks need and are very high on Pokkka.
4.) 17 Sep 2016 22:58:55
I think Chicago would wanna keep their top/ better dman prospects over trading them for decent forwards.
5.) 18 Sep 2016 09:01:55
Yup, pokka would only be involved if Chicago is getting a top 6 lw to play now, not a future.

Colorado:
Gabriel landeskog (5.571m)
Duncan Siemens (874k)
Vancouver:
Chris tanev (4.45m)
Emerson etem (775k)
2017 draft pick. Not sure what but Vancouver needs to add.
Ok so it has been said that Colorado might be shopping landeskog for whatever reasonably, and Vancouver is interested (got f all done in free agency) so they bite the bullet and offer up tanev. Colorado needs to improve on the back end and Vancouver needs scoring.
1.) 11 Sep 2016 06:38:07
COL has Johnson and Barrie on the right side. I also don't think it's enough for Landeskog.
2.) 11 Sep 2016 07:42:55
Definitely not enough for Landy.
3.) 11 Sep 2016 15:25:01
That wouldn't get Landeskog.

Hyman without a contract >>> roslovic.

I personally don't want laine on the leafs. And I hope the jets trade him, and get a decent return, I think they'd be a better team without him and his defensive deficiencies.
I love the jets, they're my second favourite team other than the leafs. This is a trade forum for fun. You clowns never post trades, just criticize other people's offers (fun based) then insult them.
Pinball, thanks for the trade idea, but if I were dubs, I'd stay as far away from laine as possible.
18 Oct 2020 11:06:44
Lol acting like laine plays any harder than nylander is just a joke. Laine can outscore nylander by a bit, and was hyped up much more in his draft year, that's the only difference between the 2. Nylander will have a much better contract. Makes up the difference in my eyes.
These jets posters are out of control. Laine is a sulky little sucky baby who stops trying when he doesn't get his bounces. I wouldn't trade nylander straight up for that cancer.

Can someone take IJ and Marcus off repeat please?
06 Sep 2020 14:24:28
Lol @memarcus. What a joke. I think the response is on repeat from you and islandjet. This is an easy yes for the jets. This fills their most needed position, improves them offensively AND defensively, and gives them more character.
Horvat >> laine in every way possible.
You guys make jets fans look ridiculous. and I actually like the jets.

Matthews. Dahlin is overhyped. he's good, but not as great as he's made out to be. Let's see what happens in a few years, as dmen take longer to hit prime.
