Leafs: Pickard

Pickard currently playing for leafs ahl team and they got him for a 6th, so they move up a round and oilers get a goalie who is more experienced and better than brossoit.

leafs laugh. seriously? a 5th for pickard? would take 2nd or 3rd round at least.

No one in the league wanted to pay anything for him at the start of the year though, 2 months ago. It's hardly likely that alright numbers in the AHL warrant anyone giving up more than a 5th and even that's pushing it. Pickard isn't a prospect from NHL 12.

I'd rather keep Pickard tbh. Yeah he's in the AHL, but w. goalie injuries being ever-prevelant, I'd rather see a tandem of Pickard and Mac than Mac and Sparks if Freddy got injured.
