Doughty is a FRANCHISE player. Even though he has his struggles, he is still really good. I don't even think Winnipeg wants to get rid of rosolvic.

Easy no from Winnipeg. As much as I like Doughty, he's going on 30 and still has 7 years after this one at 11 million. If you want Ehlers it would need to be a deal around an equally young, equally skilled C or D.

Sure Topshelf, if you're stupid enough to disregard age, it might make sense. But common sense wise, nobody trades a 23 year old for a 29 year old with a lot of miles and 8 years left at 11 million a season. That's how a GM gets fired.

Memarcus but you're being stupid enough to disregard the fact Ehlers is a useless winger. unless he's one of the top 5-6 wingers in the game (which he isn't) his 37 points on the wing really doesn't carry a lot of value. doughtys 29? Oh god, he only has what another 9 or 10 years left, I wonder if Ehlers will still be playing in North America by then? Ehlers doesn't get you a young equally skilled c or d, it gets you a young equally skilled winger. he's worth nothing more.
