This trade isn't far off. DET gets 2 proven players with upside in Kane. WPG gets potential. Not many players translate that well from Junior to the NHL. There is plenty of risk on both sides. Kane is 22 years old and a past 30 goal man. Frolik is a proven top 6 player that kills penalties and will score 20 goals without any defensive risk.
