Edmonton - Hall and Scrivens

Ottawa - Lehner, Zibanijad OR Ceci, 1st in 2015, 2nd in 2016

This trade gives Hall a fresh start and puts Scrivens in a role better suited for his game right now. Ottawa gets a scoring winger to compliment Bobby Ryan. Edmonton gets a badly needed NHL capable goalie, a good 2nd center or potential top 2 defenceman depending on if the take Zibanijad or Ceci, another valuable 1st round pick in a good draft year and another early pick to to ease the pain of trading a generational talent like Hall.

HA. No from Ottawa. NOT going to happen. Lehner, Ceci/Z-bad AND a 1st. Nope. how about Lehner, Weircoch, Prince/Peumpel. That's more the return.

Ottawa adds. I can see edmonton asking for stone or a younger player or players that are almost nhl ready instead of draft picks

No from Ottawa, that's way too much youth to give up considering that ottawas not one scoring winger away from being a cup contender

Lol Sens fans. Way too much? Taylor Hall is elite. Lehner's numbers are barely better than Scrivens' so he's not a huge upgrade for EDM. Whether you would make this trade or not, that's what Hall is worth. Maybe more you Homers.

Anyone saying that hall isn't going to Ottawa unless its for karlsson or ryan obviously doesn't pay much attention to hockey. Oilers management is full of persons. they're almost desperate. and karlsson is one of a kind player. hall is a bust in Edmonton.

@McJesus15 I beg to differ. He is worth a chuck yes, but he's NOT elite. If you want to see elite, look at Crosby, Stamkos and the like. Not Hall. A roster player, and good young prospects is all he gets. Even Ryan had 4 30+ seasons and only got a young roster player, middle prospect and a 1st (given by Murray just to assure it gets done)
