To Vancouver: J.Gardiner
To Toronto: K.Bieksa

Explanation: Kevin Bieksa is guy that has a lot of leadership and can handle responsibility. He could bring veteran leadership to the Leafs' defense. Him and Phaneuf could take Toronto to the playoffs. Vancouver gets a young guy with OK salary and would get a ton of confidence when the Canucks reach the playoffs.

To Pittsburgh: Mitchell
To Florida: 2015 4th, 2016 6th

The Penguins get more leadership and a veteran guy on their blueline and could teach the young defenseman a thing-or-two.

Im sorry but no one will be helping toronto to the playoffs. if anything we need to get rid of the older guys and rebuild and hope we end up near the bottom to try and get one of those first two picks.

I'd do gardiner for bieksa in a heart-beat, idk about the canucks tho.

@Bob b bobson

Gardiner is a guy that has plenty of potential.Leafs need a veteran guy like Phaneuf to help them. If the Canucks make the playoffs Gardiner will be a good player for them.

Update: Bieksa and Gardiner are both on the trade block. These teams are involved: Leafs,Canucks,Hurricanes,Penguins,Rangers,Oilers

I don't see how bieksa is on the trade market but i'll take your word. And I agree with your points @NhlFunFacts

Bieksa isn't on the block. He is a massive part of the Canucks leadership, blue line and is the focal point of their team toughness. On top of that too he can't be on the trade block because he's on longterm IR.

Leafs need help in finishing last or as close to it as possible not closer to a non achievable play off spot
Their only 3 points from 28th
come on guys you can do it

7.) 06 Feb 2015
@Titties They can get a younger guy with less salary and has the same defensive game as Bieksa.
