I can see them trying to unload YAKUPOV and a second rd pick to Tampa for durin

Along with possibly making a few more trades

I could see edmonton coaches asking peter to try to get Burns and I could see edmonton possibly trading their 1st rd pick along with a defensive prospect

I could see the oilers trying to sign
lucic and yandle if the Rangers and kings let them hit the free market

Yakupov and a second for Drouin is too much
Burns for a young d-man and a potential elite player is too risky considering age difference. I don't see where Yandle fits on the left side. Lucic will be a hard signing for Edmonton and is the last trades joke, April fools was a while back I believe.

Dourin for yak is fair but I'm sure steve over values Dourin and with a second rounder he may take the bait

I honestly think that peter will get 1 D man off the sharks someone todd knows is reliable

And lucic will be very hard to get July 1st but if any one can do it it's our gm

The edm cbj trade is far fetched and ebs and Griff are clearly not enough to get hartnell and Savard. . But a man can dream lol.

Guys Yaks value at the deadline was a second. Yak and a second doesn't get you Drouin at the deadline they were still looking for elite prospects not projects and picks out of the. You won't get Drouin for Yak straight up or for Yak and a second.

I'm just going to throw out here that Drouin had a higher ppg playing fewer minutes than Yak Brian Boyle and JT Brown/ Cedric Paquette as his linemates. Yak score like 10 points in 15 games on a line with McJesus and then 13 points in the other 45 games. Not to mention that since returning Drouin has a goal/ game at both the AHL and NHL level. I don't see how they're really comparable at this stage.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned cap yet. That clearly looks over and Leon, Mcdavid and Nurse raises are coming in a few short short years.
Plus this proposal all around is pretty bad.
