Alzner is very underrated now, though.

The Caps want to win now and I don't think these pieces will help them.

I honestly think both teams would say no to this.

Wsh wouldn't do either of these trades. Alzner is far more valuable than that package of "potential. " Yakupov and Reinhart both look like busts currently and Davidson is nothing the Caps don't already have in spades. Adding Wilson and Bowey too, yeah that's horrific.

3 D-men for 1 + Yak? Don't see it. Yak straight for Alzner may work as both have 1 year left on their contracts. Yak has more upside so likely pick with Alzer may be required.

Good luck getting Alzner straight up for Yakupov. You Oiler fans are a gas. Rumors are the ask recently for Yak was closer to a mid-Rd Pick (probably a late 2nd at best) . Alzner and Yakupov were both picked Top 5, only one of them is currently a good NHL player and it's not Yakupov.
