The Canucks do not need a offensive dman. Boqvist to Montreal makes sense.

- Boqvist would be a great add for any lineup, but MTL is years away from being competitive and is loaded with quality RD prospects. It is unlikely they’d block any development paths for the kids, especially with Reinbacher and Mailloux likely joining the roster next year.

No from Van. Boqvist is struggling a ton. Garland is a very good player despite what you hear. Gar doesn't get powerplay time or PK.

He outscored JT Miller last year at 5v5.

Boqvist is not good right now.
