Benoit Pouliot is a forgotten on the Oilers. With his contract, he has no value to the Edmonton Oilers. Reinhart is also fallen out place on the Oilers with Jordan Oesterle out-playing him in the AHL.

Las Vegas adds Reinhart. Who can still be a considered a good project for some teams. They can buy-out Pouliot if they aren't interested in him.

Like no from Edmonton? Idc if we lose Pouliot or not they are going to give away Reinhart because he's taking longer as a defenseman should to develop. Everything they gave to get him to, ya right. No from Oilers.

You don't care? 4 million dollars for the next two years. That's a good top 4 defenceman salary. Reinhart isn't going to being anything. Slow defenceman never turn out good in this league. Reinhart is slower than Alex Plante. Remember that name?

Just because they gave up a lot for Reinhart doesn't mean they aren't going to trade him away. This helps their franchise. Jordan Oesterle or even Dillon Simpson can take his spot without a problem.

Would you lose Reinhart and Pouliot if it meant you could keep Draisaitl or would you lose Draisaitl if it it meant you could keep Reinhart and Pouliot. We don't know what Draisaitl is going to ask for.

We're signing Draisaitl regardless so I have no idea why you would bring him up. And no I'm not saying no from Edmonton, I'd do that, but if you're the Oilers this doesn't happen. That's what I'm saying. No way chiarelli would do that. Especially for a 6th round too.

I can see why Edmonton would want to do this but I think Las Vegas do want want a better player coming over over if they were to take on that contract and term.

I wouldn't give up on Reinhardt so soon. Why didn't he bring him up until the last moment? Could it be he didn't want to lose him to vegas?
