It would take a better offer from the Leafs to get Myers, who would be the Leafs #1 right shot d-man, from the Jets. Take out Hainsey, who would never make the Jets and add a top prospect.

I agree with islandjet, Myers would get more. And I wouldn’t want the canes trade. I don’t want Nylander to be traded bringing back an older version of himself. Involve him in a trade for a stud Dman or keep him long term.

You said the canes wouldn’t take that. They would in a heart beat they get younger, Better and less cap space. Canes take this and run. Go look at my post comparing Faulk to Gardiner.

I may be in the minority but I don’t think Myers is worth the cap hit. I’d rather just sign Ian Cole via FA.

First one is brutal for Toronto. Nylander is better than Skinner and Gardiner and better than Faulk.

Second one is good for Toronto but I don’t think WPG bites.
