Why not just sign Evander Kane? No doubt he wants to play in Toronto just like everyone else and will sign for peanuts for the privilege.

That way they get to keep superstar Kerfoot and all those elite propects too. Can't forget the first round pick either, even if it was last overall whoever Dubass takes will be the best player of the draft.

Undervaluing Toronto Players as your usual, no need to even explain this further, it's ok if you hate a certain team, we all have our opinions.
If anything long term it is lopsided for Vancouver not Toronto, look at the ages and contracts of all players involved, and of course a 5th Rounder is always better than a 1st according to you.

Vancouver will NOT take on more cap than what they are giving up (adding roughly 1-2 million). If you can swap the 5th round pick for OEL and somehow make that work for toronto... that's the best you will get.
