Winnipeg Jets trade Scheifele and Stanley to Boston for Zacha and Carlo

Jets get 2 guys under team control for multiple years and Bruins clear cap space and get a badly needed top end center.

The problem is Boston wouldn't do it and both players wouldn't waive for Winnipeg. The Jets would also most likely want young roster or close to roster players.

Its a decent trade for both teams but I would rather substitute Schmidt for Stanley.

@memarcus and @ islandjet. If the Bruins offered Ullmark or Swayman for one of Schiefle or Dubois, do you think it’s something Jets management would consider?

I know a lot of people think Dubois want to go to Montreal, and I don’t disagree with that, I just think if Montreal isn’t interested then the Jets may have to explore other options for Dubois.

With rumours that Hellebuyk wants out, do you think they target a goalie with on of those two guys? And do you think the Bruins could be a fit as they basically have two starters? Which of the two would you prefer?

Goalies don't have that kind of value so unless there are some nice adds, the Jets are better off trading PLD and Scheifele for other pieces.

If the Jets are taking one back in a package though, I prefer Swayman.
