Here's one that doesn't include Nylander.

Jets trade Trouba, Perreault, Copp and Lowry

Flyers Trade Provorov & Patrick.

The Jets get two young players that can be slowly integrated into their lineup.
The Flyers looking to get tougher get 2 young tough players, a #1 right shot d-man they have wanted for years and a reliable veteran that knows what it takes to win. The only fear for the Jets is that Patrick becomes another RNH, tons of potential but plays too soft.

Im sorry but taht maybe only gets Provorov. Trouba with all his contract issues and ethic issues and age compared to Prov is obvs worth less (Prov is going to be one of the best dman of the future imo), Perraulet doesn't even factor into this equation all that much (30-40 point guy whos okder on a big contract), Copp is a capped our third liner and Lowry is just a 3C.

2.) 28 Nov 2018 21:40:13
Trouba and Provorov might be close in value, but I don't think the Flyers would be ready to give up on Patrick yet. The Jets would need to take out Perreault and Copp and add Ves or other prospects to Philly's liking if they were going after Patrick.

3.) 28 Nov 2018 23:08:27
Trouba is not close to Provorov. Give me Provorov anyday.

I agree with both Topshelf and Memarcus as this trade would really have a poor chance of happening. However I heard that Philly wasn't happy with Patricks progress and his soft style of play. They also wanted tougher and grittier players and have desperately wanted Trouba for a couple of years. I think the Jets need to shake up their team and I just threw this trade out as I thought it might answer needs both teams have.

Talk about extreme overpayment coming from Philly lol.

6.) 29 Nov 2018 02:36:57
Prov>>>>that whole package that guy will be a star.

I think you have to add comrie at least.

The Jets trade;
Myers, Petan a 2nd and a 5th
for
Oilers
Puljujarvi

Pully is a healthy scratch and the Oilers need D help and Myers would be a definite upgrade. Petan could be what McD needs as a winger.
The Jets have the depth to send Pully down, be patient and have him learn the NHL type game with the Moose.

Islandjet, it looks like you're trying to get an upgrade on Petan, but it isn't worth it. We can't afford to lose a defenseman to pick up an underachieving winger, no matter how much potential he has.

The Jets just don't need wingers at all.

The Jets have signed Connor to a 7 year $49 mil contract for a $7 mil a year average. Great no more silly Connor trades.

islandjet

1.) 29 Sep 2019 04:32:40
I though it said 7 year 51 mil?

2.) 29 Sep 2019 14:53:23
Great deal either way.

I don't like the either trade as the Jets have enough small, bottom 6 players.

It is a fair trade but the Jets waiting until 2026 for a 1st is a long uncertain time so it should be unprotected.

It isn't that this is an interesting offer however I really don't believe that the Jets are going to trade Ehlers unless its at the trade deadline after a lousy season.
Change the 2nd to a first and replace Ronni with a better prospect or the Jets might look to trade him elsewhere.

NotACasual the biggest difference between Scheifele and Eichel is that Eichel may never of played again from his neck injury and Scheifele scored 43 goals last season and is $4 mil per year cheaper. That is why the win now Rangers might do this trade.

I sadly agree with MuzzaO1 view on how the Jets played last few seasons.
I think this trade is fair for both teams and I like the free agent signing of Patrick.
Scheifele needs a change and Heinola needs a fair chance which he would get in NY.

Thanks for the info. I for one prefer their new jerseys to the vintage ones.

This is the 1st time in Morrissey's NHL career he was allowed to play an offensive game as he did in junior.

This team needs a new, younger coach from a winning organization that will bring a fresh approach to the game.
The Jets have the talent but are still lacking the leadership to get the most out of it.

The Jets should have traded for Schenn and made a move to get Meier.
Once again the Jets didn't make a move to really improve their team for the playoffs.
I have always been a Chevy supporter but now I question why doesn't he make some big moves that not only strengthen the team on the ice but send a message to the players they are going to have an improved roster for the playoffs.
Draft and develop and don't play the kids philosophy doesn't improve the Jets, even if they make the playoffs.
What a mess.
