Calgary looking to trade expiring contracts of ELindholm and Tanev and Markstrom just hasn't worked out in Calgary, besides Samsonov's expiring contract the 4 Leaf Players are prospects and or young players that Calgary would be looking for and adding a 1st Rounder seals the deal.

Leafs fix everything in this proposal with Forward adding ELindholm, Defense adding Tanev and Goaltending depth adding Markstrom with Jones and Woll in place as well.

A goalie that was literally placed on waivers, good young defensemen, 24yr old AHLer, third liner and a late 1st for retained 1C/2C, retained 4D and retained starter?

why do the Flames do this? the flames trade all their most valuable trade chips and get scraps.
