I just don’t see it happening for Utah. They have more depth in prospects than most, so they ma y not want to block a development path.
I also think retention or a sweetener have to be part of such a transaction.

It wasn't from a credible source. Andersson would make sense for Winnipeg, Kadri doesn't.
I can't see the Jets moving their top prospect for a 34YO.

Retention on Kadri would be a huge no from the Flames, they weren’t even willing to retain on Zadorov. Kadri just had a 75 point season, if it’s Minny coming to Calgary asking for Kadri then Flames have all the leverage.
