Sam Bennett will be a 90 point player one year. They wouldn't trade him in the next 10 yrs. that would be like Edmonton trading McDavid now. Players of this caliber do not come around often. Look everyone. if Shanny sticks The Plan, he unloads older 3rd liners for picks and futures. Sure, they might need to pick up some salary or take back another useless shmuck, but the goal is to get tougher and faster. Yes, they need a top line Centre and will likely get it in the draft. Just keep losing boys. you build from the draft. Now let me light my cigar and grab a bottle of wine and relax. Winning takes time and if they had the balls, the Leafs would have done that 4-6 yrs ago, but they patchworked the team instead. Talk soon.
